PPA17 Challenge

PPA17- I like Christmas cards with unconventional colors. With these tough economic times, I also believe in using what you have.... so I created a card with Stampin' Up's Urban Garden- that is the striped paper behind the Felt Flurries from the Clearance Rack. Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads were used to embellish the snowflakes. Happy Holidays is stamped on Whisper White and accented with Basic Gray Paper. Ribbon from a local retailer is added and then everything is assembled on Bashful Blue. It's fun to play at PPA!

If you would like to order any Stampin' Up Products used for this card, click on Order Online to the right. Elegant Table!

Josh and Beth Jusko's wedding was elegant and spectacular! I was honored to make the table numbers with Stampin' Up- cardstock featured is Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. The Little Leaves #114511 were then cut and applied with Tombow Adhesive. The leaves on the name cards are pressed with recycled paper & wild flower seeds. In the Spring we will soak the leaf in water and then plant in the ground. What a pleasant and pretty memory of Josh and Beth's Wedding!

PPA16- Christmas Fun!

PPA16- Hot Chocolate Gift Sack. I made this at a Christmas Stamping event a few years back and each Christmas I hold a "Anything but a Card" workshop and these are a big hit! The Punch Pals Stamp Set is the only one you need to create this fun craft! I start with a white sack purchased from a local craft shop and stamp snowflakes in Bashful Blue on both sides of the bag.
The Snowman- he's adorable- and he is stamped in Basic Black on Whisper White. The penguin is stamped on a separate piece of paper, both are colored with Stampin' Write Markers. The penguin is then cut out and placed next to the snowman with a Dimensional. Stamp Tis the Season in Whisper White and use White Stampin' Emboss and the Heat Tool to make the words "pop". Fold the sack in half and apply to bottom part of bag. Start stamping the trees on Whisper White and Old Olive, then cut the trees, layer your paper and apply to left side of bag.
Use the Tag Punches and some ribbon and adhere to right side of bag. Decorate with Ribbon. Buy some hot chocolate packets. After you punch out the "handle" with the Round Tab punch, staple it to the hot chocolate and slip the packet into the open end of the bag. Fold it up, deliver to friends and wait for it......there it is..... a big smile! Happy Stamping!

Lil' Pumpkin!

Anna's first Halloween was also spent in Argos along with her cousins Ian, Dylan and Jackson. The backround paper is from the 2008 Stampin' Up Halloween Catalog and is no longer available. The pumpkin cut out and frame is from the Dollar Spot at a large retailer. Isn't she so cute with her Baby's First Halloween shirt? Her pumpkin hat is from her Aunt Amy! Halloween 2009 was one of the best ever because it was spent with family and friends. Happy Scrapbooking!

Star Wars Halloween

My grandson, Ian, was a Star Wars character from "Clone Wars" and who has the cutest paper in town? Pages in Time.... it's going out of business... I'm sad about it and this store will be dearly missed. I wish the owners well. This page was so easy to create. It also contains Basic Grey from Stampin' Up and the Basic Black was used with Stampin' Up's Photo Corner punch. We also had a great time in Argos as we accompanied the grandkids on Halloween Night. Folks from local businesses dress up and hand out candy. A fun time was had by all!

Halloween Scrapbooking Ideas

I just had to scrapbook the grandkids! Here is Jackson as "Thomas The Tank". I used Paper from a dollar spot at a local retailer and added an eye to one of the stickers so when you look at the page, it looks right back at you! Enjoy!

Autumn Thank You!

This beautiful card was the idea of Kim Osmanski and you can visit her website at www. stampingcockatooscage.blogspot.com She has lots of great ideas for cards and scrapbooking!
It originally had a leaf on it, but I switched it out for the "Thank You". The fall colors just blend
together perfectly! Stampin' Up's Autumn Meadows paper is just gorgeous and used with the Autumn Splendor stamp set.... well, you can't go wrong! Great card for thanking your hostess after being invited over for a Thankgiving feast. Happy Stamping!
