Happy Birthday from K & Company

I bought this adorable paper and 4 packs of embellishment for under $10.00 at JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts.  I've made so many cards-  Birthday, Mother's Day, and a few Get Well and can't wait to use it for scrapbooking too!

The Happy Birthday Stamp is from Stampin' Up along with the Wisteria Wonder Ribbon # 122973 and Basic Rhinestone Jewels # 119246.  Cardstock color Certainly Celery #105125 matches perfectly!  I trimmed the printed paper with the Scallop Edge Border Punch #119882.

I'm a stamper on a budget and it's fun to get items on sale and create lots of masterpieces with them!

Happy Stampin to all and Happy Spring!

Keep Calm

I loved this stamp set and had to have it!  This card is a copy of the one created in the Stampin' Up Catalog.

It comes with other stamps too- like "Shop On" or "Cry A Little".  I learned about the Keep Calm and Carry on Phrase from a dear friend and it's very interesting.

I made the card with:

Basic Black Ink #126980
Whisper White Ink- no longer available
Basic Gray Card Stock #121044
Crumb Cake Card Stock #120953

Carry On Stamp Set #126647
3/4 inch circle punch # 119873
Bitty Banner Framelets #129267

Well Worn Designer Paper was available in the Clearance Rack!

Keep Calm and Carry On was a propaganda poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the British public in the aftermath of widely predicted mass air attacks on major cities. It had only limited distribution with no public display, and thus was little known. The poster was rediscovered in 2000, has been re-issued by a number of private companies, and has been used as the decorative theme for a range of products. It was believed there were only two known surviving examples of the poster outside government archives until a collection of 15 originals was brought in to the Antiques Roadshow in 2012 by the daughter of an ex-Royal Observer Corps member.

Beach Themed Wedding Shower Favors

My daughter will be getting married on Anna Maria Island on April 3 and we just had the shower for her the first Saturday in March.  I created these cute candy containers with the Big Shot and my go to Stampin' Up Die.  I bought sand dollars and applied them to white and gray cardstock that was punched with the circle punches.  Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes- best stamp set ever- that I use again and again for all the showers- I stamped "just for you" in basic gray over a star fish stamped in pirouette pink for the labels on the glass starfish coasters!

Thanks for looking and happy stamping!!

Paper Players Challenge

I found this cute paper on the Taylored Expressions Website and being a seamstress, I just loved it.  It also contained bobbin paper and some ideas for cards.  The card stock is from Stampin' Up and I used the Scallop Border Punch to complete the card.

Thanks for looking and happy stamping!
