It's a Boy!

Hey Scrapbookers...... if you have any scraps or extra pieces laying around or tucked away....get them out and you can make a quick easy card! Seriously, this took less than 10 minutes! I bought the kit at Hobby Lobby when they were 50% off, used it to make a page or two and then thought what am I going to do with the rest of the pages and embellishments? I assembled a bunch of cards and it's good to have them on hand. Happy card making!

Time to Eat!

Now that my mother is doing better, I found some time to scrapbook! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

I'm a little behind but once I get going, I just can't stop! The top page is of Miss Anna who is looking around and trying to get up on all fours. The bright Lime Green and Violet are accented with Doodle Bug brads and Stickers. The Flower was cut with the Big Shot. The lower page was done with some of Stampin' Up's Friends and Flowers Simply Scrappin' Set. It's no longer available. I just added the picture of Miss Anna with food on her face and embellished it with Jolee's dimensionals.
Isn't she sweet??? Now I need to get busy with my Christmas pictures!
Happy Scrapping!

Cheers!

My daughter, Jackie, can't stay out of the craft room! She's hosting a Bachelorette party this weekend in Indy and created this card for the future bride. She layered Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Whisper White squares on a sheet of paper from the Night and Day Specialty Pack. The stamps are from the Cheers to You set and she used colored pencils to accent the refreshments. Black satin ribbon was added to the bottom. Cheers to all!

My niece's birthday falls on St. Patrick's Day and my daughter Jackie made this card. She doesn't have a blog so I asked if I could submit it to the PPA and she said yes! The Shamrock was layered on a Nestabilities Scalloped Circle and a 1&3/8 circle #104401 punch.
Jackie used the Whimsy Wheel#109688 on some lighter green paper to add some flair. The corners of the card were rounded with the #109047 Corner Rounder. Happy Birthday was stamped in Basic Black from the Sincere Salutations #115068. Happy Birthday to my niece Nikki! Now who's ready for some corned beef and cabbage? Happy Stamping!

Gift Card Holder for Baby

I kept the Baby Talk Stamp Set from Stampin' Up and I'm so glad I did. This set is so versatile and I've used it to make invites, cards, gift card holders and it's great for scrapbooking too! When a new mom decides she would rather be surprised than know the sex of the baby, Tangerine Tango and yellow works wonderfully together. Happy Stampin'!

Un Eggspected!

So unexpected to find a Chocolate Bunny in your Easter Egg! I'm ready for Spring and Easter is just around the corner! I used left over Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon and card stock to create this fun card. The egg was cut with Creative Memories tools and trimmed with a craft scissors. The Chocolate Bunny was stamped with Basic Brown on Very Vanilla paper and adhered to the inside of the egg. A brad was used as a hinge so the egg can open and close. You could also place a photo of your grandchild in the egg! Kiwi Kiss paper was embossed with Texturz plates from Stampin' Up and embellished with some paper flowers. The Teeny Tiny Wishes is one of the best stamp sets to have. All the holidays and extra wishes are included! Happy Stampin'!

PPA32

Spring is in the air! I'm ready to hang clothes on the line and plant flowers. Remember the Ornament Punch from Christmas? Well, it also makes a nice vase for those flowers! I used Stampin' Up's Shades of Spring Paper and layered it on Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and Plum. The leaves & stems were punched out using the Extra Large 2 Step Bird Punch. Flowers were store bought and embellished with an older Stampin' Up Three Flower Punch and some Rhinestone Brads. White grosgrain ribbon accents the card and Whimsical Words were stamped in Plum and layered with the 1 and the 1&1/4 inch circle punches. Spring.... here I come!

Puggy Thank You!

This cute Puggy Card will be used as a thank you for Heather McMaster. Heather rescued Abby from an Amish puppy mill, took her to the vet and nursed her back to health. She also is a foster mom for pugs. She turned Abby over to Kentuckiana Pug Rescue(link to webpage is on the right) who listed her on the website and that's where I saw her and fell in love! I completed the adoption application and was approved! Heather drove Abby to our house and she is an angel! I wanted to make a card for her to thank her for her kindness and dedication to the Pug breed. This card was originally created by Mary Fish who has been featured in the Stampin' Up monthly magazine. She is an amazing Stampin' Up Demonstrator who also has a pug.
