PPA21 - Winter Wonderland

You can't have a winter wonderland without snowflakes! I like an easy card where you use what you have and I saved money & bought items that are in the Stampin' Up Clearance Rack! The Felt Flurries are a real bargain and are still available. Christmas colors are any color and if you have any Bashful Blue and Basic Gray- put them together and stamp a snowflake in Whisper White at the bottom. Happy Holidays is stamped in Bashful Blue from the Christmas Mini Catalog- Four the Holidays. A clear rhinestone brad was added to the felt snowflake!
Happy Stamping on a budget. It's fun to play at the PPA!

Hey Rudolph!

Guest Stamper is Jackie Kindig, my daughter! Yes, she's hooked on making her own cards too! She created this with Stampin' Up's Real Red, Basic Black, & Whisper White card stock. She used a Sizzix reindeer die and some craft eyes and sparkly card stock for the nose. The reindeer paper was purchased at a local hobby store. A little ribbon around the middle adds the perfect touch! Merry Christmas!

Easy Christmas Card!

If you haven't started your Christmas Cards, here is an easy one to make! You'll have these mailed out in no time at all! I used Stampin' Up's Medalion Stamp in Real Red ink on Whisper White paper. The Finial Press Embossing folder was sent through the Big Shot- check my blog for a sale on many of the dies for the Big Shot! A Merry Little Christmas is from a Hostess Set and was punched out with the Wide Oval Punch. Glorious Green Paper was used for the card and the larger oval. Silver Sparkly ribbon from a craft store embellishes this card perfectly! See, you're done!

Silly Reindeer!

Ok, this is silly but fun! Since I tried to wrap a box like a snowman in yesterday's post, I thought I would try and wrap a box like a reindeer! It was easy and I'm sure my grandkids will love it. I purchased the brown wrap from a dollar store- it's the kind you would use to wrap a box and then mail it...super cheap by the way. Alrighty, just wrap your gift box and apply the eyes. His nose is a brown pom purchased at a local craft store and I cut an oval with my scrapbooking oval cutter. The antlers are cut from craft foam but you could use construction paper for those too. I used Stampin' Up's Large Oval and Small Oval punches for the ears. I can't wait for my grandkids to see their presents!!

Simple Snowman

Ready to wrap presents? Want to save money on paper and use some scraps? All you need is a a box and some circle punches- punch eyes and mouth out of black paper scraps. I also applied some eyes bought at a local hobby store. The nose is cut out of orange paper and the scarf is from Christmas scrapbook paper. My grandkids love it! Easy to open and less paper to waste!

Santa Gift Card Holder

Easy to make with the Big Shot and Stampin' Up Punches! Santa's Hat & beard is made with the Pennant Die. His beard can also be punched out with the Scallop Circle punch. His face is cut with the Clear Circle and eyes and nose are punched out with 3/4 & 1/2 inch circle punches. I sponged some red around his nose and used a dimensional to make it stand out! The back is is also cut with the clear circle- cut it in half and apply with sticky strip leaving the straight part open so you can place a gift card in it. I also personalized it and you can do the same or leave it blank! Tie some cord to the top of the hat and it makes a cute ornament! Happy Punching!

Stampin Up Items Used: Punches: 3/4 Inch Circle #107217, 1/2 Circle #104390, Scallop Circle #109043, Dies: Pennant#113483, Clear Circle #114533, Cardstock: Whisper White#100730, Real Red#102482, Very Vanilla#101650 & Basic Black#102851

Martini Anyone?

My son is hosting a Martini Party and he asked me to create an invite. I was thrilled to create a martini glass from vellum and then layered it on Stampin' Up's Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black and Basic Grey. You're Invited was stamped on Whisper White and then punched out with the 1 inch circle punch. Wedding Ring favors were purchased from a craft store and added to create a charm for the glass. The olive was punched with the small oval punch and embellished with a ruby gem. The toothpick was applied with glue dots. Happy Holidays and Happy Stamping!

PPA18- Keeping It Simple!

PPA18- I love the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set- I've used it in many of the challenges! Tangerine Tango and Riding Hood Red & Pirouette Pink Stamp pads were used for the flowers and then layered on the same color paper and embellished with a button and some linen tread! This card works well for birthdays and anniversaries. Change the colors to Navy, Bashful Blue and Basic Gray to create a Sympathy Card. Thanks for this simple challenge!
