Popcorn & Movie Card

Here's a cute card that I am sending to a friend along with a pack of popcorn and one of her favorite movies on DVD.  For the popcorn buckets I used the Create a Cupcake Stamp Set and Cupcake Builder Punch.  I used Black and White card stock to create the movie strip and punched the "popcorn" with the Trio Flower Punch that is available in the Clearance Rack right now!  The Stampin' Up Designer paper in the backround is discontinued but you could use the yellow printed paper that I punched the popcorn with & that is from the Summer Smooches Paper.  Everything is layered on Cherry Cobbler Card Stock

Happy Birthday Card!

This card was inspired by Mary Fish.  She is a member of Stampin' Up's creative team of stampers and I can see why!

Simple yet elegant and the card can has many uses.  Just change the stamp to Happy Retirement, Sincere Sympathy, Friend to Friend, Get Well, and on and on!  The Stamp Set, Reason to Smile, will give you many options for cards.  Great card if you have scraps of paper too!

I used some left over Pear Pizazz Paper and the Butterfly brads were from Sale a Bration!  I'm a firm believer of using what you have on hand in these tough economic times.

Ann from the Stampin' Schach created this card for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge and I loved it so much I just had to CASE it.

I'm loving the pearl accents and have started to use more pearls in my cards.  I stamped the flowers from one of my favorite sets, Field Flowers, with Cajun Craze Ink on the yellow patterned paper from the Summer Smooches set.  Cut out them out and after stamping the stem in Old Olive, applied them with dimensionals to make the "pop".  The Eyelet Border stamp is no longer available to purchase but it you have it, use it!  You could also use the Delicate Design Embossing Folder #127023and then cut along the border as the original card featured.  Very easy card to create and use for many occasions!

Happy Monday and Stamp on!

Goulish Googlies

I couldn't resist Stampin' Up's Goulish Googlies Designer Kit!  It comes with treat bags and orange and white twine, but I bought it to create Halloween Cards in a flash!  I just love the eyes that have the adhesive on the back so they are really easy to stick on your cards.  The oval shape is decorated & ready for your favorite stamp and I used bats from a $1.00 stamp I found at Michael's.

Pinwheel Card

I visited the Stampin' Connection where they showcase amazing cards and found this one.  I wanted to make an "End of the Summer" card and send it to a dear friend. It was created by Donna, who is a Pug lover like myself!  Loving the Pug breed has nothing to do with the card but I just had to add that!  Donna is an amazing stamper and has encouraged me to try and expand my business!

The Pinwheel is made from two squares, then cut diagonally and held together with a brad.  Add some ribbon, punch some card stock and stamp a phrase and it's done!  My pinwheel squares are 2&1/2 inches and I suggest you use a 2 inch square so the pinwheel will be slightly smaller and fit better in an envelope.

Thanks for looking and call me to order or place your order online with me now!  Have a great day!

Butterfly Punch

This card is inspired by Windy Ellard from the Pals Paper Arts.  I reached for the Brights Collection Cardstock that goes so well with the Summer Smooches Designer Paper.

Layer 1: Daffodil Delight Card Stock
Layer 2: Embossed Pacific Point Card Stock
Layer 3: Summer Smooches Designer Paper with Scallop Trim Border
Layer 4: Whisper White Apothecary Accent Framelet
Layer 5: Embellished Elegant Butterflies

Stampin' Up's new Elegant Butterfly Punch also has a coordinating Stamp Set!  I love this punch as the butterflies are so dainty!

The Warm Wishes stamp is discontinued, however, you can use any stamp that you wish.  Would also make a nice Happy Birthday card or Thinking of You card!
