PPA14- Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge

As I gathered the materials, I thought of friends and family who have lost their fight to cancer....my great-grandmother, grandmother and my dad. Some of us who were challenged with other cancers and won... me, my daughter and my brother-in-law. And the ones who are fighting now... my daughter's friend's mother who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. God bless them all! I am honored to create this card!

Papers used are Razzleberry Lemonade, Whisper White and Pretty in Pink. The flowers are from the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set and they were layered with Pixie Pink & Pretty in Pink Stampin' Right Markers. Old Olive was used on the stems. Organza Ribbon separates the papers. Cherish from Baroque Motifs is stamped in Pixie Pink and punched out with the Large Oval and layered on a piece of Pretty in Pink that was punched with the Scalloped Oval. Stampin' Up's Dimensionals were also used.

Here is another candy cup I created for my daughter's baby shower! Yes, she had a girl! These baby shoe candy cups were big hit along with the watering cans (Previous Post)! I just loved it when PPA issued a "Anything but a Card" challenge. Playing with paper is so much fun! If anyone needs the pattern, email me at: Kindig.3@nd.edu and I'll be happy to send it to you!

PPA13 - Baby Shower Candy Cups

I found this cute idea for a watering can on Splitcoast and thought what a great idea for a candy holder for a baby shower. I made plenty of these and embellished them with ribbons, brads and this cute flower is a die cut from Stampin' Up's Baskets and Blooms. You can cut two watering cans from one piece of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper and they assemble easily using the Sticky Strip.
The guests just loved these!

Got Pug?

Got Pug? We sure do and we love him dearly! It's so fun to scrapbook my daughter's Pug, "Tank".
Most of these items were purchased from the Niles Scrapbook Store in Michigan. Tank is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and be close to us at all times! If you want a furry friend, you need to get a Pug! Happy Scrapping!

PPA12.... Boo!

I love this layout! I first used the Spider Web Embossing Folder on Whisper White Card Stock. Next, I rubbed a Stampin' Sponge on the Basic Grey Stamp Pad and then lightly rubbed it on the spider web. Ghostly Greetings was one of my favorites from last fall and I bought plenty of it to use this year too! I used the Circle Scissors Plus to cut my circles and punched a spider out and placed her in the web. Basic Black Card stock was also used. I used a Black Stampin' Up Marker for the "B" and the exclamation point. Black and Orange Buttons were adhered with Tombow Adhesive to give it a 3-D scary look! The black ribbon with the orange polka dots gives it a little something too! Happy Halloween!

PPA11 - Just for You!

PPA11 Color Challenge using Perfect Plum, Old Olive and Pumpkin - those colors are amazing together! I used the Perfect Plum for the card base and rounded the corners. The Pumpkin Pie was sent through the Big Shot and embossed. Old Olive and Very Vanilla were cut with Top Note Die. Using the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set and the Perfect Plum & Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers you can get the two tone effect with the daisies! I cut the bottom of the Whisper White piece and also cut the edges so I could layer it on the Old Olive. I embellished it with the Dusty Durango Ribbon- it actually looks great with the Pumpkin Pie! Just for You from the Oval All Stamp set is stamped in Perfect Plum and applied to Pumpkin Pie card stock that was punched out with the Scallop Oval! I would have never thought to use these colors.... Thanks PPA!

Tiny Little Toes

I couldn't resist scrap booking my grand daughter's tiny little toes! Aren't they sweet? Most items were purchased at a local hobby store and of course were 50% off! Stampin' Up's Pixie Pink #105121 is used to mount the photo. The Scallop Edge #112091 Punch gives the striped paper a cute border! Happy Scrapbooking!

Princess Anna was 2 months old on October 4th! Time flies! I put together this page with items purchased at a local scrapbooking store. PPA10 - Gratitude Challenge

I'm thankful for this challenge! First I get all my pieces ready. I punched out the 5 Petal Flower in Pretty in Pink and added a green accent from the Flower Fusion embellishing it with a Pink Circle Fire Rhinestone Brad. I still have some Kiwi Kiss Paper left.... I just love that color and hope it comes back.... I then cut some Kiwi Kiss and Pretty in Pink. Adding a border with the Scallop Edge Punch to the pink and I rounded the corners of the Kiwi Kiss. I fused them together with Sticky Strip and added some Bling by sprinkling it with some pink glitter! The Swirl Scribbles were then cut with the Big Shot and added to give it a dainty look! I stamped Thank You from the Thank You Kindly set in Perfect Plum. The Whisper White and Perfect Plum card stock is layered and corners were rounded and applied to the Perfect Plum Designer Series Paper on none other than Perfect Plum Cardstock for a perfectly sweet thank you card!
Happy Stamping!
