Hope to be Stampin' Again Soon!

Hello all! My sisters and I have been taking care of my mother - which we enjoy doing! She hasn't been feeling well and after being in the hospital she needs our help at home now. Her mind is so sharp and we sit and do crossword puzzles all evening long. She's masterful at those crosswords - she knows the answers but we both can't spell worth a darn! It's always fun to get the paper the next day and check the answers. Her favorite crossword is in the Chicago Tribune! As soon as her body gets stronger, she'll need us around less. Thanks for reading and I hope to get some cards up here soon!
Love to all!

PPA26-Anything But A Card

This cute basket can be used for candy or even a small heart candle. Great to give, great to get!
I made this at Kim Osmanski's Card Club. I first used the Scallop Circle die and cut three with the Pretty in Pink card stock. Using the With All My Heart Stamp set, I stamped the circles using Real Red and then sponged the edges. Just fold the circles in half and slide them together to form a heart. For the handle, cut a circle out of the scallop circle and adhere to the inside of the heart. The Love you Much stamp set is used and then punched out with the Scallop Punch and the 1&1/4 circle punch and then embellished with Sending Love Brads in Red! Add ribbon to the handle. Very cute!

From now until February 28, 2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set I sell will be donated to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relif and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

Dylan's 6th Birthday!

Here is an easy page layout. Combine photos and words and place in middle of paper. Add a couple of coordinating color paper strips along the top- as you can see the don't have to have the same designs - and embellish with a name! Again, quick and easy. By the way, my grandson Dylan turned 6 this year. He loves baseball and bike riding and loves to be outside doing just about anything! Happy Scrapbooking!

Miss Ladybug!

Scrapbooking is so much fun! Stampin' Up's Real Red paper is fabulous! I created the ladybug in the middle & found it on Mary Fish's Website, Stampin' Pretty. She designed a card and when I saw it, I knew I wanted to make one to embellish the ladybug paper I found locally at the Niles Scrapbooking store. I also used the Scallop Border Punch from Stampin' Up on the black & white polka dot paper! Basic Black frames the photos! Happy Stamping!

PPA23- Anything but a Card!

If you like to scrapbook, Stampin' Up's 12x12 paper is for you! The colors are so vibrant! Whisper White was used for the back round. The crown is a Sizzix Die and was cut using Real Red paper with the Big Shot. The houndstooth paper is also from Stampin' Up and is from the Holiday Mini- Night and Day Specialty paper- I sure hope they offer that again. It was layered on some blace and white polka dot paper. The letters & stickers were purchased from a Dollar Spot at a local retailer. Tutu optional! Happy Scrapbooking!

Happy New Year!

Hello! Ian and Dylan had a blast yesterday. Our neighborhood has a small hill for sledding and even though it was cold, it didn't stop the grandsons one bit! Jackson also hit the slopes and he was fearless! Grandma put a stop to the fun because she was freezing! I had to lure the boys back to the house with promises of hot chocolate! It was a great day and I hope for many more to come!

I'll be posting some cards and scrapbook pages soon!
Happy New Year to all!
