PPA61

What a fun challenge and I love Margaret Moody's layout! Very creative! This is the first time I used the Owl Punch. Who Who knew it would so easy to make an instant embellishment for a card or for scrapbooking? I punched the owl using Soft Suede and some left over Bella Rose Designer Paper. Happy Birthday is from the Perfect Punches Set and I used an Expresso Marker for the ink. The bottom of the card is Pixie Pink and it is layered with Soft Suede and Pirouette Pink. I punched out the Scallop Square in Barely Banana. I had some yellow satin ribbon and added a Pretty in Pink Brad. The Pretty in Pink brads are available through the Clearance Rack at Stampin' Up for only $1.99! Happy Stampin' and thanks PPA for the creative challenge!

Lawn Mowing Time

Does anyone need their lawn mowed? I sure did and Miss Anna was there to help! She loves the toys that the boys have outgrown. I'm glad I kept them for her to play with. Love to all!

PPA60-Boo!

I love this layout! I first used the Spider Web Embossing Folder on Whisper White Card
Stock. Next, I rubbed a Stampin' Sponge on the Basic Grey Stamp Pad and then lightly rubbed it on the spider web. Ghostly Greetings was one of my favorites from years past and I bought plenty of it to use this year too! I used the Circle Scissors Plus to cut my circles and punched a spider out and placed her in the web. Basic Black Card stock was also used. I used a Black Stampin' Up Marker for the "B" and the exclamation point. Black and Orange Buttons were adhered with Tombow Adhesive to give it a 3-D scary look! The black ribbon with the orange polka dots gives it a little something too! Happy Halloween! It's fun to play at the PPA!

Splish Splash!

It's about time I started scrapbooking the summer photos! These are of my grand daughter- at her Aunt Jackie's pool for her swim lessons! Miss Anna loves the water and these photos captured her joy! The papers & embellishments are from Pages In Time Forever - a local
scrapbook store here in town. They have some of the cutest papers that coordinate with any theme! They were mounted on Stampin' Up's Whisper White Card Stock. Thanks for viewing!

Enjoy the Card!

I made this card at my sister-in-law's house a week or so ago. I just love Stampin' Up's new Designer Papers. This card was easy to put together and it's layered on Basic Black. The flower was made by cutting strips of paper, adding a border with the Eyelet Border Punch and then putting it through the Crimper. You then have to scrunch it up before twirling it in a circle. While twirling, you apply it to a sheet of adhesive to make the flower stay in one place. Fun card to make.

Hello!

Sorry I haven't posted a card or scrapbook page in quite awhile. Sometimes life gets hectic and we just have to deal with it! My hubby has had some tests and procedures and all is well with him. Now I have to get myself better. I wasn't feeling well for most of the summer and found out I have high blood pressure.... not a big deal.... a lot of people have it. I'm having a hard time getting on the right meds to control it without feeling lousy. After more tests and procedures this week, I hope to be feeling like my old self again! I can't wait to get into the craft room and start creating!
Love to all!
