Christmas Cookies!

Christmas cookies are a thing of beauty and these look too good to eat! Jessica, my daughter, decorated these. I usually just slap on the icing and add a sprinkle or two but she takes it to another level. That's why she's the artist and I'm the admirer! Enjoy!

Sponge Bob Gift Tag

Who doesn't love Sponge Bob? I have some Christmas Wrapping paper that features the absorbent character who lives in a pineapple under the sea and thought...hmmmm..... I can make a gift tag to match! They were made with the Nestabilities Square Scallop and then I used Stampin' Up's one inch and 3/4 inch punches for the eyes and the X-tra large oval punch for the mouth. They are easy to make!

Stampin' Up Products used: One Inch Circle Punch#119868, 3/4 Inch Circle Punch#119873,
X-tra Large Oval #119859

PPA72

The PPA Challenges are fun & I made this card for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebrated by Tom & Nancy Lisek. I used Stampin' Up's Crushed Curry. This card is a bit bigger and I cut the 8&1/2 side at six inches and then folded it in half. It was layered with the Tea Party paper. The Manhattan Flower embossing folder was then used on Whisper White. Happy Anniversary was stamped with Crushed Curry ink and then punched out with the Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches. I saved the ribbon from a box of Godiva chocolates that I received....the recycled ribbon worked perfectly with this card!

Stars and Ornaments

The Cherry Cobbler Paper from Stampin' Up is so rich and luxurious that I just had to add a touch of gold! I stamped the stars and swirls from the Independence Day stamp set in the Versa Mark, sprinkled the gold embossing power, embossed them with the heat tool and then voila! The ornament paper and the forest green paper are from a local hobby store. The Merry Christmas stamp is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes. Girls, if you don't have this set- it's marvelous! Wishes for every occasion that fit perfectly with Stampin' Up's punches!

Christmas Tree Card

Another easy card to create using paper from: www.thepapercut.com
I went to a Paper Show in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where they were one of the vendors. They've got every color of paper you can imagine and kits of color combos, layers, you name it!
All the scallops and cards and envelopes come together in a kit. All I had to do was stamp the white scallop circle with snowflakes in Real Red. The Christmas Tree Die is from the Sizzix Outlet. A star was then punched and added to the top of the tree! I put 10 of these together in less than 30 minutes!

Ornament Card

It doesn't get any easier than this. Ornament paper from a local hobby store is layered on Basic Black and Whisper White. Ornament tags that were purchased at Target the day after Christmas - yes at 50% off - adorn the front! Since they are tags and they open, I stamped Merry Christmas in real red on the inside of each one! Super Simple, easy and inexpensive!

Singing Reindeer

The singing reindeer was created by Marilyn Van Tassell and it was so cute I just had to make one for myself!!! I changed it a little bit with the music scrapbook paper. Isn't he adorable? Using Soft Suede, the head and body are punched out with the Xtra Large Oval and Word Window punch is used for the hands and feet. Those awesome antlers were cut with the Big Shot by using the Swirls Scribbles Die. The music & Merry Christmas paper was bought at a local hobby store along with the ribbon and red brads all for 1/2 price the day after Thanksgiving! Everything was layered on Real Red Paper!

Stampin' Up Products used: Real Red Paper #102482, Soft Suede Paper#115318, Xtra Large Oval Punch #119859, Word Windows Punch#119857, Swirls Scribbles #113441
