Christmas Scrapbooking!

I finished scrapbooking my 2009 Christmas photos and had to share this with everyone! Dylan is my grandson and he lost his two front teeth and I just had to get this pic of him. I already knew how I wanted to scrapbook it too. Picture was mounted on Whisper White and Basic Black paper. Stars were cut with the Big Shot using Kraft and Bravo Burgundy paper and the Stars #2 die. My letters are crooked .....as usual.... I think that's my signature now, anyway, just wanted to share this page with everyone. Happy Scrapbooking!

PPA35- Anything But a Card

I love the anything but a card challenge. I made these for a shower that was near Valentine's Day with the Love You Much Stamp Set from Stampin' Up. They are the perfect size to adhere a Post It note pad. The loop on the side holds a mini gel pen or regular pen. You could use any stamp set to accent the front. These also make great teacher's gifts! Stampin' Glitter- the Fine Galaxy Red was then applied to the Love on the front. I had leftovers of the Riding Hood Red from the Designers Paper Series but you could use any paper that you have. It's fun to Play at the PPA! If you would like the instructions on how to assemble, email me and I'll be happy to send them to you.

Anna & Tank

I had a wonderful weekend with my grandkids. I accompanied Amy and the grandsons to see "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and it was very cute movie. We then went to the mall and found some bargains. Jessica, Brad and Anna had a family day planned for themselves but that was canceled due to car problems. Jeff helped Brad changed the alternator in their car on Saturday and when we returned home Anna was having fun with the pugs. She loves to feel their fur and pet them! The pugs love her too!

Dragonflies & Top Note Dies, PPA34

I found this cute clear stamp set on clearance at Target for only $6.00! It had 10 stamps that included butterflies, ladybugs and dragonflies so I just had to have it! I used the Top Note Die and cut it twice- once in Night of Navy and the other in Brocade Blue.....and thought, those dragonflies need to be drawn to a flower or a light so I used an oval cutter and cut the middle of the Brocade Blue piece and used the Finial Press Embossing folder for the Whisper White underneath....it needed a little something so I sponged it with Brocade Blue Ink and that's my interpretation of the buggies flying around a light. I know they not fireflies, but just humor me!
The dies were then layered on a piece of embossed Whisper White, Brocade Blue and Night of Navy. The fireflies were stamped with Night of Navy and then embellished with some of Martha Stewart's Navy Glitter. Aren't they cute? Happy Birthday is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. Happy Stamping!

It's a Boy!

Hey Scrapbookers...... if you have any scraps or extra pieces laying around or tucked away....get them out and you can make a quick easy card! Seriously, this took less than 10 minutes! I bought the kit at Hobby Lobby when they were 50% off, used it to make a page or two and then thought what am I going to do with the rest of the pages and embellishments? I assembled a bunch of cards and it's good to have them on hand. Happy card making!

Time to Eat!

Now that my mother is doing better, I found some time to scrapbook! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

I'm a little behind but once I get going, I just can't stop! The top page is of Miss Anna who is looking around and trying to get up on all fours. The bright Lime Green and Violet are accented with Doodle Bug brads and Stickers. The Flower was cut with the Big Shot. The lower page was done with some of Stampin' Up's Friends and Flowers Simply Scrappin' Set. It's no longer available. I just added the picture of Miss Anna with food on her face and embellished it with Jolee's dimensionals.
Isn't she sweet??? Now I need to get busy with my Christmas pictures!
Happy Scrapping!

Puggy Thank You!

This cute Puggy Card will be used as a thank you for Heather McMaster. Heather rescued Abby from an Amish puppy mill, took her to the vet and nursed her back to health. She also is a foster mom for pugs. She turned Abby over to Kentuckiana Pug Rescue(link to webpage is on the right) who listed her on the website and that's where I saw her and fell in love! I completed the adoption application and was approved! Heather drove Abby to our house and she is an angel! I wanted to make a card for her to thank her for her kindness and dedication to the Pug breed. This card was originally created by Mary Fish who has been featured in the Stampin' Up monthly magazine. She is an amazing Stampin' Up Demonstrator who also has a pug.
