Mickey Mouse Birthday Card

Mason celebrated his 1st Birthday with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party! Grandma just had to create a cute card for him. I used Stampin' Up's Whisper White paper, Basic Black and Real Red.
I punched out the Mickey Heads and ears with circle punches. I used a cute photo of Mason for the Letter "O". The letters are Sizzix Alphabet dies and I found the Mickey Mouse paper at Hobby Lobby....don't forget to use your 40% off coupon! Sooooo cute, isn't it?

Curly Ribbon!

Stampin' Up's Ribbon that matches the Everyday Enchantment paper can be curled and adds a pop of color to this card! I tried to design a flower from squares and I think it's darn cute! You could also use it to wrap a small gift. It's so lovely!

Springtime!

Spring has Sprung! At least it feels that way with temps in the 60's! Just had to create a card with some springtime flair. I used pinks, reds and black, but you could use any colors that you wish! Stampin' Up's Designer Paper coordinates with any color! I even used the Well Worn Paper which is traditionally used in the Fall but it looks amazing here for a "Springy" card!

Remember typing those term papers on one of these??? You're my Type set from Stampin' Up brings back the memories! I staggered the "H-E-L-L-O" letters too because typing back in the day...well, sometimes the letters weren't perfect! I used some ribbon to simulate the typing ribbon the machines used to use! PPA 128 Go RED!

In our area we are promoting Red, Go Red and Wear Red for Cancer Awareness! This card was fun to make. The chunky letter template can be found on Splitcoaststampers.com and they were created by Dina Kowal. I'm going to recruit my daughters and make a bunch of these cute cards and distribute them to local hospitals for woman who are bravely fighting the disease.

You'll need to use 12x12 scrapbook paper and cut one 3 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch piece. Using your Scoring Tool, score at 3 1/2 & 7inches. Using the letter template, I traced them onto Valentine paper purchased at Target in the dollar spot, cut them out and applied them to the card leaving about 1/8" border around each piece. The heart was cut with the Heart Framelets from Stampin' Up and laid on its side. I then punched out another heart and added a sparkly heart sticker. With a scissors or exacto knive, carefully cut around the edges of the letters and the heart.

Love You Much Card

Earlier I did a Blue Valentine card and now I used some Stampin' Up retired designer paper with pinks and greens. I just bought the Nestabilities Lacy Ovals for 1/2 price with a coupon at Michael's! They go through the Big Shot with ease! Just cut them in coordinating colors and layer them, stamp it and embellish. I used pearls. This is a great card for birthdays, get well and thinking of you!
