PPA40- Dragonfly Blues

I found this cute clear stamp set on clearance at Target for only $6.00! It had 10 stamps that included butterflies, ladybugs and dragonflies so I just had to have it! I used the Top Note Die and cut it twice- once in Night of Navy and the other in Brocade Blue.....and thought, those dragonflies need to be drawn to a flower or a light so I used an oval cutter and cut the middle of the Brocade Blue piece and used the Finial Press Embossing folder for the Whisper White underneath....it needed a little something so I sponged it with Brocade Blue Ink and that's my interpretation of the buggies flying around a light. I know they not fireflies, but just humor me!
The dies were then layered on a piece of embossed Whisper White, Brocade Blue and Night of Navy. The fireflies were stamped with Night of Navy and then embellished with some of Martha Stewart's Navy Glitter. Aren't they cute? Happy Birthday is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. Happy Stamping!

PPA39 - KISS

I kept it simple with Whisper White on Basic Black. The top was embossed with the Backrounds 1 and the bottom with the Finial Press folder. I then used a pencil to color the dots on the Finial Press & then erased them for a light splash of gray. Best Wishes was stamped with the Sincere Salutations and the Beautiful Wings butterflies add the perfect accent! Simple, easy, and fun to play at the PPA!

Meow!

Miss Anna is wearing her leopard print pants so I couldn't wait to take a photo and scrapbook it!
The paper was purchased at Hobby Lobby along with the sparkly waves. I used those to simulate a kitty scratching the paper..... I know, I'm little goofy but I have a good time with it! Pixie Pink from Stampin' Up gives it a sassy accent. I created the kitty by using an oval cutter from Creative Memories and Stampin' Up's Oval Punch. Stampin' Up's Circle Punches were also used to say, " MEOW! " Happy Scrapbooking!

PPA37- Flowers!

April Showers bring May Flowers! Stampin' Up makes it easy to create a card with flowers!

Papers used are Razzleberry Lemonade, Whisper White and Pretty in Pink. The flowers are from the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set and they were layered with Pixie Pink & Pretty in Pink Stampin' Right Markers. Old Olive was used on the stems. Organza Ribbon separates the papers. Cherish from Baroque Motifs is stamped in Pixie Pink and punched out with the Large Oval and layered on a piece of Pretty in Pink that was punched with the Scalloped Oval. Stampin' Up's Dimensionals were also used. It's fun to play at the PPA!

Easter!

Easter was so much fun this year! There were about 100 eggs and miscellaneous items scattered and hidden for the grandkids to search for! It was a joy filled day. I just wish I
could cook...... the ham was dry and the dressing for the salad wasn't mixed properly so it
tasted flat....oh well.... there's always another holiday around the corner! The top photo is
Ian, Dylan and Jackson. Guess what Joe? Their shirts match! Bottom photo is Miss Anna
in her polka dot dress.... she's stylin'! It was a great weekend!
